‘Batman – The Telltale Series’ -World Premiere Trailer, Digital Release Date Annou

Telltale Games has released the world premiere trailer Batman – The Telltale Series, alongside the digital release date of the debut episode.

The first episode of Batman – The Telltale Series will be titled ‘Realm of Shadows’, and will begin launching digitally on August 2 for PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam and other digital distribution services. Batman – The Telltale Series Episode 1 will also be launching on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, iOS and Android devices digitally on the same day.

Batman fans wanting to purchase a retail copy will have to wait until September 13 in North America and September 18 in Europe for the physical Season Pass Disc, which will include Episode 1 and all subsequent episodes will be able to be downloaded as they launch.

Batman – The Telltale Series will be focusing on Bruce Wayne as much as his alter ego Batman. Telltale hopes to explore “the fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne and discover the powerful and far-reaching consequences of your choices as the Dark Knight”. Players will experience a “gritty and violent” story where Bruce Wayne must utilise his power as a member of the Wayne family and his prowess as Batman to try and help a corrupt Gotham City.

The debut trailer also offers a first look at the voice talent featured in the series, with Troy Baker as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicky Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gorden, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle. Telltale has stated addition characters will be appearing throughout the series, but to avoid all spoilers nothing has been revealed at this time.

Excited to experience Batman – The Telltale Series? Which characters would you like to see appear during the series? Telltale also recently revealed the release date of the latest episode of Minecraft: Story Mode, which will launch next week.
