‘Assassin’s Creed: IV Black Flag’ Companion App Now Available

Ubisoft has announced the Assassin’s Creed I:V Black Flag Companion App is now available to download free from the App Store for the iPad, and for all tablet devices able to connect to Google Play.

The Assassin’s Creed IV Companion App has been created to deliver a true second screen experience, providing features that will further immerse you in the world of Black Flag. Instead of navigating menus through the pause screen, the Companion App allows you to control an array of features from your secondary device.

Here is a list of the features the Assassin’s Creed IV Companion App will include.

  1. Interactive World Map – Which allows players to set waypoints, see mission objectives and navigate Black Flag’s map.

  2. Kenway’s Fleet – Players can set their crew on missions no matter where they are, allowing their crew to continue their hard work when the player is away from the console.

  3. Progress Tracker – A full selection of mission progress, game data and completion totals can be viewed.

  4. Treasure Maps – Instead of constantly diving from the pause screen to the pirate life, utilising the Companion App allows easy viewing of treasure maps as you sail the open waters.

  5. Initiates Wall – Which will display messages, notifications from friends and community challenges.

  6. Animus Database – Players can views all the Animus Database entries as they unlock through the main game.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is now available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions releasing over the next two weeks.
