‘Assassin’s Creed’ Franchise Has Sold Over 73 Million

Ubisoft had revealed that the Assassin’s Creed franchise has sold over 73 million units, since the series was established in 2007.


The newly released Facts & Figures document also showcases the total amount of units sold throughout various Ubisoft franchises. Coming in second was the Just Dance franchise with 48 million, while the Tom Clancy properties of Splinter Cell (30 million), Rainbow Six (26 million), and Ghost Recon (25 million) round out the top five.

Ubisoft recently revealed a new entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise would release for next generation consoles and PC, by the end of the year. Known as Unity, the entry will take place during the French Revolution. It was also revealed Unity has been teased since Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.
