‘Ashes Cricket 2013’ Releasing This Winter

505 Games has announced Ashes Cricket 2013, scheduled to be released this Winter before the unique double header Ashes Series.

Releasing on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC, Ashes Cricket adds variety to each match with unique and realistic features. Weather forecasts will change, wickets will deteriorate during games and pitches will alter.

“We are delighted to be able to announce some of the key features for Ashes Cricket 2013,” spoke Ralph Pitt-Stanley, General Manager for UK & Export at 505 Games. “This game has been created with real cricket fans and players in mind. The new engine allows players to mimic a cricketers most important attribute, his technique.”

Ashes Cricket 2013 will feature a brand new game engine, focused on offering a true authentic gaming experience. Batsmen will have full 360 degree control of shot placements, with bowlers also having a new line and length bowling system with complete fielding control. For the players who want the field placed automatically, there are also automatic field options in place.

Offering the official licensed English and Australian cricket teams for the Ashes Series, players will also have the option to take on the rest of the world in the short form of the game.  With limited over tournaments and leagues included.

505 Games also announced Sniper Elite 3 for current and next generation consoles last week, which will feature a more “sandbox” area compared to previous games.

More details on Ashes Cricket 2013 will be released over the coming months via the official website at www.ashescricket2013.com.
