Armored Core: Verdict Day Coming This Year

Namco Bandai announced today that Armored Core: Verdict Day would be coming to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. Developed by Japanese company FromSoftware, Verdict Day brings the hardcore mech action the franchise is known for.

The world has been thrown into chaos, natural resources are demising and Armored Core mechs are used in this deadly battle across the world. Allowing you to command a squadron with up to 20 members, allowing you to take control territories from the enemy forces.

Verdict Day will include new gameplay features for players looking for a single player experience, allowing players to create A.I controller mechs. It will also include a new matchmaking service that will make finding battles even easier. Co-Operative multiplayer and Operator Mode will also return allowing players to tactically control their squad, similar to an RTS this gives players complete control of their deadly forces.

Armored Core V fans will be able to carry over their save to Armored Core: Verdict Day, experiencing the brand new content with their customized details from previous titles. Verdict Day also comes loaded with new robust customization options, allowing players to add new guns, armor pieces, shields and boosters.

Armored Core: Verdict Day will release in Japan September 26, with no other dates announced for other regions.
