‘Arma 3’: The Community Guide to Helicopters

Bohemia Interactive today launched the second season of its Community Guide video series for Arma 3, focusing on the principles of being a successful helicopter pilot.

Hosted by Andrew Gluck (better known as Dslyexci) from ShackTactical focuses perfecting take-off, basic flight, weapons employment and landing. Piloting a helicopter is considered one of the most challenging aspects of Arma 3, so this video will be handy for any up-coming pilots.

The video explains how to use collective pitch, the rudders, and how to operate the basic weapons systems. It also showcases a beautiful cockpit view of Altis , the 270km² island available in the full game.

If you’re excited about helicopter flight it is available in the current Arma 3 Beta. The Arma 3 Beta and the Arma 3 Deluxe Edition are both available from Steam and Store.bistudio.com (which both include a Steam version and full retail version upon release).
