Additional ‘Watch Dogs’ Content Announced

Ubisoft has announced that single player content for Watch Dogs will be available this week for all platforms. The to-be-released content will include three single player missions, unlockable weapons, perks and bonuses. This content was originally available for those who pre-ordered Watch Dogs, including those who pre-ordered the Dedsec Edition.

The three missions being released will allow players to unlock new weapons such as the Biometric Rifle and the Auto-6 pistol by completing these tasks. Ubisoft has released detailed descriptions of all three missions below.

The Palace Single Player Mission: A police raid is planned on the luxury palace of an Internet mogul. His databanks have intimate details on thousands of people including Dedsec and Aiden Pearce. Break inside, wipe his hard drive and escape before the raid begins. Then silence the Internet mogul.

Signature Shot Single Player Mission: A biometrics weapon has been smuggled into Chicago for a captain of the Black Viceroys gang. The weapon only works with the first person to imprint his palm on the handle. Breach a stronghold, steal the package and be the first to imprint the weapon.

Breakthrough Single Player Mission: A secret gathering is underway. The Chicago South Club is negotiating power with Corporate CEOs. The Club has hired scramblers to block surveillance devices. Find the scrambler vehicles and take out their technicians. Locate the meeting and eliminate everyone taking part.

Players will also gain access to the Dedsec Battery Boost perk which will give players an additional phone battery, the Blume Weapon Boost which will offer faster reloads and less recoil for all weapons, the ATM Hack Boost will give players an increased amount of money when hacking bank accounts, and the Driving Master boost will provide vehicles with greater hit points.

Watch Dogs Season Pass holders received this content one week in advance, while non Season Pass holders can purchase this content separately. Analog Addiction enjoyed Watch Dogs when it was released earlier this year, and you can read the full review here alongside why we believe Watch Dogs needs a prequel. Watch Dogs is scheduled to release for Wii U later this year, though no release date has been released Ubisoft has confirmed they are focused on this version.
