Activision Announces ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’

Activision has announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a side-scrolling action-brawler being developed by Magic Pockets.

Set in the same universe as the popular Nickelodeon animated series, the game will bridge the gap between season one and two of the TV series.

Featuring four person local co-op and online drop-in/drop-out co-op on Xbox 360, players will witness an authentic Turtles storyline. Magic Pockets will also incorporate locations from the animated series, which will unfold through animated cut scenes and in-game events.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available in retail later this year, for Nintendo 3DS and Xbox 360. While Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will release August 28, during the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade.
