6 Months of DLC for Sleeping Dogs
Square Enix looks to be putting a lot of confidence in their new game Sleeping Dogs, they have announced that the game will receive 6 months of constant DLC support. Square Enix stated, “an extensive six months of additional content,” is on the cards involving the first batch of DLC to be released day one with an 80’s-inspired Retro Triad Pack, these costumes will provide stats increase and a “funky kung-fu van.” Also players who have played Just Cause 2 will receive a special themed attire when they boot up the game.
More content will also be released in September with a “high-speed” Racing Pack and followed by an “explosive” SWAT Pack. No details have been released as to what this content will provide, many would assume some extra street races and possibly bonus missions respectively. Square Enix has stated that “further announcements to follow soon.” regarding even more DLC content.

Best way to celebrate 6 months of DLC? Fly-kicks.
Square Enix general manager Lee Singleton has this to say regarding the six months planned content drops, “Sleeping Dogs is a game we know fans will want to keep on playing, so over the next six months we’ll be creating a series of new content packs giving players everything they need to keep enjoying the game,” He went on to speak about variety in each of the DLC packs, “We want to create something to suit everyone’s play style, from cool cars and high-speed missions to outlandish outfits and game-extending mission packs. The game launch is just the beginning.”
Sleeping Dogs is now available in North America and will be released August 17th everywhere else on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
