3DS System Update Brings New Features to StreetPass Mii Plaza
Nintendo 3DS owners can now download a new update for their handheld, bringing new functionality to their system.
The new update allows players to change the expression of their Mii characters when they meet Mii’s over StreetPass and four new StreetPass-enabled games can be purchased through the Mii Plaza, which include StreetPass Squad, StreetPass Garden, StreetPass Battle and StreetPass Mansion. 3DS owners will need to download the new update to access the new content, but once the update has been completed players can access the new content without further downloads.
Nintendo has also released details on each new StreetPass game.
StreetPass Squad: Players blast their way through enemies in a scrolling space shooter with the help of StreetPass characters
StreetPass Garden: Challenges players to grow a garden of flowers and cross-pollenate them with the plants of visitors that they meet through StreetPass
StreetPass Battle: Players collect troops through StreetPass, clashing with other warlords to take over the world
StreetPass Mansion: Players design and explore a multi-level mansion using rooms and hallways received from StreetPass characters
Players who complete accomplishments within these four games, will unlock new full-body out and hat for their Mii characters.
