3DS ‘Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire’ Remasters Announced

Nintendo has announced remastered versions of both Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire will be released for the 3DS this November.

The new remastered Game Boy Advance titles will be known as Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. These new remastered editions will join the list of Pokémon Red, Blue, Gold and Silver, which have all previously undergone the same remastered treatment.

Originally released in 2003, Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire took players to the region of Hoenn, introducing a new series of Pokémon alongside new gym leaders, locations and more.

Little else is known regarding these new remastered versions, but we are sure Nintendo will have more information during Nintendo’s unique E3 2014 showcase.
