2K Announces Paul George As ‘MyNB2K16’ Companion App Cover Star

2K has announced the NBA All-Star Paul George will be the inaugural cover star the MyNB2K16 Companion app.

“I’ve been a long-time fan of the NBA 2K series and love staying close to the game when I’m on the road,” said MyNBA2K16 cover athlete Paul George. “Being selected as the face of MyNBA2K16 is the perfect opportunity to stay connected with the game, as well as represent the NBA 2K franchise.”

Launching October 1, the MyNB2K16 Companion app allows players to constantly be connecting to NBA 2K, with features such as the MyCareer display, MyPlayer store, more ways to earn virtual currency and episodes of 2KTV. MyNB2K16 will also feature a collectable card game called MyTeam Mobile, where players can collect cards of their favourite NBA players and challenge others in quick games, season tournaments or special events.

The MyNB2K16 Companion app has been developed by Cat Daddy Games in conjunction with Visual Concepts. The app will be available for free on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, as well as the Google Play and Amazon App Store for Android devices.

NBA 2K16 will launch September 29 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
